    Just wondering which buildings are pet friendly at Port Orleans Riverside. My son is on the spectrum and loves pets but I prefer him not to have close contact in our specific building. Thank you

    Hi Sherri, and welcome to planDisney! We’re so glad you’re here and I’m happy to assist with this question about one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

    At Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside there are specific buildings designated as dog-friendly. These buildings include 15, 24, 80, and 95. I recommend having a request added to your reservation to stay in another building. You can do that by calling and speaking with a Cast Member or chatting through the My Disney Experience app.

    It is important to note that dogs are permitted on walking paths and in some outdoor common areas. However, they are not permitted in food & beverage and merchandise locations, pool areas, and fitness centers. Dogs also must always be on a leash when outside of a resort hotel room.
