I am wondering if you can bring snacks and drinks in a backpack into the disney parks?

    Welcome to planDisney Christine!

Bringing your own snacks into the Walt Disney World Theme Parks is a great idea. It not only can save you some money, but it also certainly saves time not waiting in lines for a quick drink or munchie. I know when my kids were little, having a stash of juice boxes was a life saver!

As a reminder...No alcohol, glass bottles, or glass containers, and no large coolers or coolers on wheels. To double check, review the list of Prohibited Items

Please note that complimentary cups of ice water are available wherever there are fountain drinks served. This can certainly lighten your load by not packing a ton of water bottles. Snacks and drinks are nice to have, but you don't want your bag too heavy!

If you are looking for a yummy snack for purchase as a special treat, Mickey Ice Cream Bars are always a hit. Let's face it, any food in the shape of Mickey always tastes better! Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
