Hi! I was wondering if I can bring my make up to disneyland? I will be spending a long time there and will need to touch up my make up. Also, i will be goong when it is cold, so can I bring some air activated hand warmers like the HOTHANDS to disneyland?

Greetings, Danielle, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

It looks like you just arrived at the Disneyland Resort – welcome! There’s so much going on at the parks this weekend, from the new Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration, to the Lunar New Year celebration, which just kicked off as well.

I checked the list of permitted items, and I’m happy to report that bringing your makeup to the Disneyland Resort shouldn’t be a problem. I’m sure Minnie Mouse would agree that everyone could use an extra touch-up now and then! You may want to put all your makeup items into one bag to make it easier when going through the security checkpoint. If there are any breakable items, I’d alert the security personnel so they can be more careful when going through your belongings. I’d recommend storing your makeup in a rental locker for the day. That way, you don’t have to worry about anything breaking or leaking throughout your visit. Locker rentals can be found in Disneyland Park on Main Street, U.S.A., on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park, and in The Esplanade between the two parks.

As for bringing an air-activated heat pack such as HotHands, this shouldn’t be a problem, so long as you alert security personnel before coming through the security checkpoint. You may want to set aside your HotHands and makeup to make the security process easier.

I hope you create many magical moments during your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

    See ya’ real soon!
    Kristin
