Welcome, Autumn!
Like
Winnie the Pooh, I often find myself wondering for hours on end: “Think, think, think.” So, I am so happy that you’ve reached out to us here at planDisney to help find an answer to your lingering Disney vacation planning question. Let’s dive right in!
The wonderful thing about planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is that you can indeed book a vacation package. This package includes theme park tickets and a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay for your party. You can even add a
prepaid dining plan to it. That means no second guessing when you’re buying that Mickey-shaped snack or perusing a table-service restaurant’s menu. How convenient is that?
I have great news for you about paying for the vacation package: Yes, you can make payments toward a Walt Disney World vacation. When you book your trip, you’ll need to pay a deposit. From there, the vacation package must be paid in full 30 days before your magical adventure begins.
Like any good fairy tale, there is a plot twist! After you pay your deposit, and leading up to the 30-days-prior deadline, there is not an option to set up an automatic withdrawal to pay for your trip. You will have to log in to your
My Disney Experience account and pay when and with what form of payment that you’d like. Here are the steps to make online payments toward your vacation package:
-Log in to your Disney account.
-Select "My Plans."
-Find your booked vacation package reservation.
-Select "Make a Payment."
I hope that this helps you as you embark on your Disney vacation planning journey, Autumn! If you have any other questions,
revisit us at planDisney. Any one of us would be more than happy to assist. As my friend Tigger says, “Ta-ta for now!”
Magic always,
LeAndra
