I am wondering when I can book a resort stay in January of 2027

Greetings Betsy and welcome to planDisney!

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the new year than to leave the snowy Midwest for the sunny days and the magic of Walt Disney World!

Reservations aren’t quite ready to open up for 2027 yet.  But, they will be soon!  Based on previous years we can guess that reservations will open up in the coming spring months!  Guests were able to book visits through October 31, 2026, when reservations opened in April 2025.  So a best guess would be sometime in April, but keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any new information that will signal the actual date!

When you do arrive in the magic, I highly recommend visiting Disney’s BoardWalk! You can stroll along the waterfront with great sunset views! There are street performers and classic arcade games that make you feel like you are at Coney Island or Atlantic City.  The Pizza Window serves up giant slices of pie that hit the spot for lunch or dinner!  If you want a more sophisticated seaside seafood meal, the Flying Fish is perfect for you! With it’s close proximity to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the BoardWalk is a great place to visit or stay at one of the top notch resorts!

Betsy, I hope your trip is a magical one and don’t forget to enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
