Wondering if you can book a later breakfast character dining at Animal Kingdom and pay breakfast price but get in on the lunch food? Looking at Tusker house but not sure if you pay before or after you eat

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lindsey! I’m happy to hEAR about your upcoming trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Character dining is an amazing way to get love and hugs from your favorite Disney pals while also filling your belly with some great grub!

There are only a few restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort that require paying ahead, such as Cinderella’s Royal Table or Mickey’s Backyard BBQ. When you visit Tusker House, you will pay concluding the meal, just like at Chef Mickey’s. As you go online within My Disney Experience, you will be able to choose a seating time for Tusker House. Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. – 10:55 a.m.; lunch is typically served from, 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and dinner starts at 4 p.m. You can choose the time that works best for your family, but you will find that the food starts to shift between 10 and 11 as they prepare for lunch. You may even have to pause your buffet trip for waitstaff to start replenishing that decadent  warm banana-cinnamon bread pudding with vanilla sauce (yes, you can even grab it at breakfast)!

If you have other questions about the delicious buffets found around Walt Disney World Resort, please let me know. I love eating my way through the Parks! ~ Lindsey P.
