Don't close your eyes, Julia. And don't try to hide. The Halloween season is where silly spooks may sit by your side. And there's no place like the
Walt Disney World Resort for the spookiest season as it's where grim-grinning ghosts come out to socialize!
Mickey's Boo-to-You Parade is performed twice during each
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party as long as the weather cooperates. So, even if you're attending the party on a Tuesday in October, you should have two chances to catch the parade unless the weather starts to terrorize!
And speaking of the parade, I always recommend people attend the second performance as families with younger children often attend the earlier one and then, like they've heard the knell of a requiem bell, let a ghost follow them back to their
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel as they head back to their room early. That usually leaves fewer creepy creeps with eerie eyes in the park.
As the moon climbs high over the dead oak tree, you'll want to check out all the other entertainment that the party has to offer. You'll want to watch as the specialty nighttime spectacular,
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, starts to materialize in front of
Cinderella Castle. There are also a few dance parties where spooks might arrive to show off their killer dance moves like they're at a swinging wake. They may even begin to vocalize if it's a classic tune to which they know the lyrics! And don't forget the
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular! Those three Sanderson Sisters really know how to get a party started and get restless bones to etherealize and rise as spooks of every size.
Julia, you're going to have so much fun at the party this year. Don't forget that you can trick-or-treat to your heart's content. So once the crypt doors creak and the tombstones quake, open up those trick-or-treat bags and get ready for a sugar rush!
If you have any other questions,
please feel free to reach out. Even if I'm shrouded in a daft disguise, I'm always happy to help Guests make the most out of their delightfully spooky, and not so scary, autumn visit.
Hurry back,
Matt
