I was wondering what is better to stay at AKL or Wilderness with a 8 y/o that loves animals. We will be at disney for 7 nights and I was wondering if AKL would be to isolated. Thanks.

Hi Michelle, if you have an animal loving child, I'd recommend staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  We stayed there on our last family vacation and I didn't find it to be isolating at all.  It's a beautiful resort, similar in design to the Wilderness Lodge, but the animals make it so unique.

Travel to the parks on Disney transportation was relatively easy.  Since the Animal Kingdom Lodge only has one stop, you will be on your way to the parks pretty quickly.  You'll also want to spend some time at the resort - the restaurants are fabulous and the pool is very nice!

    Have a great vacation!
