I was wondering what is the best park to visit at WDW Florida the day we arrive? We plan to arrive at around 10:00 a.m.

Hi Lily! It is always best to plan your vacation from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave so you won't miss a thing. Of course this does not mean you can't stop and enjoy the magic and relax while you are there.

My usual suggestion for guests on their arrival day is not to head into the parks if they have enough days in their vacation to do a park a day later on. Traveling is always exhausting and by the time you get to your resort, check in, and unpack you are even more tired. Consider using this time to explore your resort to understand what is available to you and perhaps take in some pool time. Later on I would take the bus to Disney Springs and enjoy a nice dinner there and walk around and shop and enjoy the street entertainment. Head to bed early so you are ready to go for a full day in a park the next morning.

If you must hit a park on arrival day due to your vacation length then I suggest checking to see which park will have the latest hours on that particular day. You can check the park calendars on the Disney website, www.disneyworld.com. Check to see which park will have extra magic evening hours for resort guests as well.  This will give you the most time in a park for the money you spent on a ticket.

If you are not a resort guest you will not be able to take part in the Extra Magic Hours so just check for the latest regular hours for the parks on that specific day. It is hard to determine crowds on any particular day so I would go with which park you can spend the most time in.

    Have a magical Disney vacation!
