Wondering what my best option is for transportation from Orlando airport to our Disney resort? Really contemplating the Uber Minnie vehicle? Has anyone used this? We are a family of 4. Thinking it might be faster and not that much more expensive than other

Hey there, Stephanie, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question. I’d be more than happy to chat about transportation options for your upcoming vacation!

The Minnie Van Service Connected by Lyft is a fun option for getting around within The Walt Disney World Resort! Unfortunately, Minnie Vans no longer provide service to and from the airport. But there are still many convenient options available to get you, your family, and your luggage from MCO to your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. Here are a few options to can help you determine which one may be best for your family:

    • Since you mentioned that you were interested in a quick option, ride-share services like Uber and Lyft provide a private ride experience and will provide the most direct trip from the airport to the resort. They are easy to book from their apps, and drivers are usually abundant at all times of day around the Orlando airport. I recommend collecting your luggage before booking your ride. This is a great option to get you to the fun quicker!
    • Mears Connect is a popular motorcoach service that transports Guests from the airport to multiple resorts. There is a cost per person in your party, and Mears can be booked for one-way or round-trip travel. Once you arrive at the airport and grab your luggage you will proceed to the Mears Connect pickup area and board the motorcoach to travel to your resort. Keep in mind that each motorcoach is likely to travel to multiple resorts so your resort drop-off could be at any point in the rotation.
    • The Sunshine Flyer provides a similar motorcoach option, but is themed like old-fashioned locomotive transportation. You will also pay per person and travel with a group to multiple resort stops.

I hope this helps, Stephanie! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know
