Hi, We have been wondering what our best option is. If we were to move dates, Ive heard that our DDP will be honoured, is this only with the company we are currently booked with or can we also rebook with another travel agent and have DDP honoured?

Hi there, Lisamarie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I’m happy to hear that you’re planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth soon. I completely understand the dilemma when it comes time to decide whether to modify your dates. I have reached out to Guest Services regarding your question and I'd love to share what I have learned.

Due to Park closures, there is an exciting new offer currently available to guests who previously booked vacation packages or room reservations to stay at a Disney Resort Hotel at Walt Disney World Resort for travel dates March 16 to May 31, 2020. Pending current availability, this offer would mean you are eligible for a Vacation Package offer that includes accommodations at a select Disney Resort Hotel, Park admission and a Disney Dining Plan! This is valid for arrivals most nights June 1 through September 30, 2020 when booked by May 31, 2020.

This is an excellent offer that would allow you and your family to enjoy a Vacation later in the summer that still includes a Disney Dining Plan! Regarding the question of changing Travel Agents, that is something that I would recommend you address with your Agents directly. I would recommend that you reach out to the new Travel Agent you wish to re-book with to confirm availability of the offer on the dates you have in mind. Once this is ensured, then you can proceed with cancellation of the original travel booking with help of your original Travel Agent. Check out the Travel Information Updates page for more details on the newest policies. Rest assured that cancellations are eligible for a full refund at this time.

Lisamarie, I hope this information is helpful to you as you plan a much-needed family Vacation to Walt Disney World Resort for a time that is most convenient to your family. Securing a re-booked trip that maintains your Disney Dining Plan would be incredible, and I hope this allows you to do so! The promise of magical Disney Vacations in the future is so necessary during times like these, and I hope that you and your loved ones will be able to make magical Disney memories together very soon!

If we can be of any additional help in the future, please do not hesitate to come back to see us -- it would be our pleasure!

    See ya real soon!
