I was wondering how I can best estimate how long it will take to get from one attraction to the next, so I can plan a route through the Magic Kingdom. I have kids ages 9,5,4 so I'm not sure how fast we'll move:-)

Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

What a great question!  Utilizing your time wisely is the best way to make the most out of your Walt Disney World vacation.  Great job with the early planning!

I would set aside at least 5 to 10 minutes within a "land" (example, Tomorrowland, Frontierland, Adventureland, etc.).  In other words, if the attractions are in the same area, then 5 to 10 minutes is all you need.  When you are making your way from one "land" to another, I would allow for a 10 to 20 minute journey.  Of course, I am allowing for restroom breaks and walking at a very comfortable pace.  You do not want to feel rushed as this can make for a very stressful day.

Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel.  Please join us again real soon should any new questions or concerns pop-up.  We love offering great tips and advice.  May your upcoming visit be filled with many new and MAGICAL memories.
