Hi, Just wondering if the balloons sold in the Walt Disney World theme parks come with weights to stop them floating away, of if I need to bring my own to stop it flying away? Thanks!

    Hi Daniel!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Balloons are one of my kids' favorite souvenEARs to get during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I love when they choose them as their souvenEAR because I have such fond memories of having them when I was a little princess. Balloons do not come with weights on the end, so they can be a bit tricky to manage. We will often tie them to my little ones' wrists for a little bit, but eventually they need to come off so we can enjoy attractions, eat a meal or take a nap.

My favorite way to keep our balloons is to tie them to our stroller. This way, we ensure our balloons are safe while we are enjoying attractions, shows or dining experiences and it is a really helpful way to find our strollers while they are stored in Stroller Parking. With the balloon tied to the stroller, we can simply look for our balloon when finding our stroller in Stroller Parking rather than looking at each individual stroller. It save us so much time!

If you will not be using a stroller during your vacation, you could bring your own weight, tie your balloon to someone's backpack or find another fun souvenir during your trip to serve as your balloon weight. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue planning your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
