Ahoy, Narelle!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question! I'm happy to hear you'll be sailing on the re-imagined Disney Magic in May! A seven-night voyage is my favorite - you'll have more than enough time to explore the ship and take advantage of all there is to see and do.
Deciding what to pack for a cruise can be tough! It helps so much to know ahead of time what the dress code is for dinner. For seven-night cruises, you can expect the following:
- First night is cruise casual—no swimwear or tank tops
- One themed night (pirate-themed deck party)
- 3 additional cruise casual nights—no swimwear or tank tops
- One formal and one semi-formal night—two great opportunities to dress-up and take advantage of the onboard photography services. Though optional, dress pants with a jacket or a suit for men, and dress or pantsuit for women is recommended
If you plan to dine at the adult-exclusive restaurant, Palo, during your sailing, you can find their specific dress code requirements here.
Make sure to pack your favorite pirate accessories for Pirate Night! All guests will be given a fun pirate bandana to wear, but you can certainly dress up as much as you like! You'll have swashbuckling fun with a Pirate Deck Party and enjoy Buccaneer Blast fireworks over the open water. Shiver me timbers - it's a ton of fun!
I hope this helps with your planning! As your cruise date gets closer, please come back and visit if you have any more questions - we're happy to help!
