I was wondering what areas of Fantasyland will be open by October of this year. The main one in particular I am wondering about is the Tangled area. Is it open yet? Or will it be? What other areas are and will be open then?

    Hi there Shelby!

I cannot wait to tour the New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom! I'll be down in June if not earlier and that is the first part of Magic Kingdom that I will be visiting!

I do know that the Tangled area is coming along rather nicely and baring some major storms or construction problems should be complete by October. So far, the area is looking very nice. we were there in September and most of the major attractions were ready to go except for The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. In fact, some of my Moms Panel friends have been through the area, dined at the restaurants, shopped at the shops, and say it's fantastic!

The New Fantasyland attractions which are currently open are Under the Sea the Journey of the Little Mermaid, Gaston's Tavern, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Bon Jour Gifts, Be Our Guest Restaurant, and Ariel's Grotto Meet & Greet. Hopefully, by the time you arrive the Princess Fairytale Hall will be open so you will get a chance to meet the Princesses in their new homes.

Over at the Storybook Circus section there is Dumbo, the Flying Elephant, Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station, Pete's Silly Side Show, and Barnstormer.

Thank you for asking the Moms Panel! If you have more questions, we are always here to help!
