I am wondering if there is anywhere to make reservations or eat in MK,HS or AK that my son can see characters. We are not staying at a resort, so I don't think we have a character dining option? Do we? Would love to have this experience. Thanks.

    Hi Ginger!

You can make a reservation at any of the restaurants anywhere in Walt Disney World, regardless of whether you are staying at Walt Disney World.  Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance at (407) WDW-DINE or online here.  Some of the restaurants are extremely popular, so I recommend making the reservations as soon as you can.  You definitely don't want to miss out on this unique Disney experience!

A great place to dine with the characters is Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort.  You can easily get there via monorail from the Magic Kingdom.  It's my boys', ages 11 and 6, favorite place to eat at Walt Disney World.  You can enjoy breakfast and/ dinner at Chef Mickey's.  Another great place for a Character Breakfast is the Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club Resort.

My family also enjoys Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom.  It's a great way to start the day!  Write back if you have any more questions!
