I was just wondering if anyone has been to a water park during spring break season. Is it really warm enough? Coming to wdw 3/24/12 to 3/29/12. Thank you so much

    Hi there, Joni!

In Florida, swimming season is, depending upon where you're from, almost year-round! Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, like the pools at the Disney Resorts, keep their water heated to 82F when necessary, so there is never a "cold pool" to be found. Obviously, this changes in the summer, when the outside air and bright Florida sun manage to heat the water to very comfortable temperatures.

Water Parks do close if the outside temperature dips below 50F.

Tomorrow, for example, Lake Buena Vista, FL - home of Walt Disney World - is showing a predicted high temperature of 85F. That's almost summertime weather -- in the middle of March!

So bring your bathing suits and sunscreen, and get ready to splash your day away!

    See you later, celebrator,
