Hi Lori!
I'm a frequent "glamping" at the
Fort Wilderness Campground Resort as we bring our motor coach down for several months every fall. Many times I have had to run to the Trading Post to grab something that was needed at the last minute.
The store offers all the staples and a bit more then any other resort store. They will definitely have eggs, bread, water, milk, butter, creamer, chips and some frozen foods available to purchase. They will offer some canned goods, cereals, fresh fruit, cookies and seasonings and so much more. They will also have basic camping goods on hand such as RV toilet paper, charcoal, and picnic items.
They will brew coffee every morning and often you will see sleepy campers making their way to the Trading Post to get a fresh cup of the brew. They will assist you with delivering to your site if you need this and they are open every day until 10pm.
For basic items you can't go wrong with shopping at the Trading Post. The prices are not necessarily the least expensive you will find but they are not outrageous either. The fact it is easy and time is not wasted going off property to a store makes it a great a choice.
