In the past, I've had adjoining rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort. I booked two rooms - one for my family and another for my sister and her family. I was advised at booking that adjoining rooms were not guaranteed but would be noted on my reservation. The Cast Member also advised me that if I ever book two rooms for my family including my niece and nephew (2 adults & 4 children) that I would be guaranteed an adjoining room since I would need it for the children.
