It’s never too soon to start planning for
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, so let’s get started! Though we don’t know when tickets will go on sale yet for
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party in 2023, I can give you an estimate based on this year's ticket sales. This past year, the
Disney Parks Blog announced
the return of Oogie Boogie Bash on June 13, 2022, and ticket sales began for Magic Key holders and D23 members on June 28, 2022. Then, tickets went on sale to the general public on June 30, 2022. So, based off this information, I would guess that we should hEAR the Disney Parks Blog announcement about 2023 ticket sales by mid-June 2023, with ticket sales beginning by the end of the month.
While you’re waiting, here’s some information to help you start planning your visit. We know that this year’s event runs from September 6, 2022, through October 31, 2022, at
Disney California Adventure Park. Typically, Oogie Boogie Bash takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and usually begins around 6:00 PM, but also includes early entrance into the park starting a few hours before the event. My personal event highlights include the immersive treat trails, the eerie projections and lights in Villains Grove at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, and “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” show. From the specialty treats to the festive merchandise and family-friendly entertainment, there’s truly something for everyone!
