Hi Kathy and welcome back to planDisney! Halloween is a great time of year at Walt Disney World, especially with the fall decor, the cooler weather, and the sweet treats at
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and over at EPCOT’s
International Food and Wine Festival. Now, allow me to be your ghost host as we dive into your questions, foolish mortal!
Kathy, you first asked about the Disney Vacation Club Halloween Meet & Treat. DVC has not yet made any official announcements whether the Halloween Meet & Treat will return for 2026. Given that DVC has held the event for the past 3 years, it is likely that they will host the event again this Halloween at
Disney’s Boardwalk. I would check back later this summer for any announcements regarding this event. If you haven’t yet attended, it’s one of our family’s must-do events when we’re at Walt Disney World for Halloween. From the free goodie bags and Halloween treats, along with rare character sightings (for us we saw Lotso from Toy Story and Hades from Hercules), this
Membership Extra special event sure does make us feel special and glad to be DVC members!
Next up is your question on Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. If you want to socialize with grim grinning ghosts, you’ve come to the right place! While there are no early access tickets as DVC members,
prior attendees of the party that were guests of Walt Disney World resorts (including DVC resorts) have had early access to party tickets. This should ensure your ability to purchase party tickets without a kerfuffle! What’s even better is that as DVC members, we get discounted tickets for select dates!
Kathy, I hope this information makes you grin with ghoulish delight! If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me and my fellow panelists here at
planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
