Hi there! I was wondering if anyone knows where to find a pretty reliable list of scheduled refurbishments/ride closures for WDW? I know that I've found it on the Disney website in the past, but I can't seem to find it.

    Hi Lauren,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question.

In order to bring magical innovative experiences and exciting transformations to the Walt Disney World Resort, there is always a chance that some theme park attractions, or Resort Hotel areas, will display a “Pardon our Pixie Dust” notice at some point.

To learn what attractions are scheduled for refurbishments, you may check the park hours calendar and the individual page of each attraction on the Walt Disney World Resort website, or on the My Disney Experience Mobile app. Once on property, you may secure copies of the times guides. These can be found at the entrance of every Disney theme park. The times guides will list the rides and attractions that are closed for refurbishment too.

To find a list of the scheduled closures online, simply do a search for any of the following unofficial sites: wdwinfo.com, allears.net and touringplans.com. They do a decent job at compiling information on refurbishments and closures at the Walt Disney World Resort. You can also read the official Disney Parks Blog. It is the best online source for information and updates.

If you have any specific questions regarding ongoing closures at the Walt Disney World Resort, please call (407) 939-1822 to speak with a Cast Member.

Wishing you a most unforgettable visit to the place where the magic is endless!
