I am wondering if anyone knows how far out can you book with your points so they do t expire

    Hiya, Alissa!

Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney!  Alissa, don't you just love the flexibility of Disney Vacation Club? Having affordable family vacations of your dreams available to you year after year is a wonderful way to enjoy the magic of Disney and make lasting memories for your family. Our family has loved being Members for over 22 years, as it has simply made vacations possible that wouldn't have been possible otherwise.

Alissa, if you are booking your Home Resort - the Resort in which you purchased your Vacation Ownership - this can be booked beginning 11 months in advance of your desired check-in date.  All other Disney Vacation Club Resorts can be booked beginning 7 months in advance of your desired check-in date.  If you have Vacation Points that you don't think you will be able to use during your Use Year, then those can be banked for your next Use Year so they don't expire. Your banking deadline depends on your Use Year, but typically it is the last day of the 8th month. For example, if your Use Year begins in October, you have until May 31 of that Use Year to either use all of your Vacation Points or bank them for the next Use Year. If you fail to do that, then, unfortunately, you forfeit those Vacation Points.

If you choose to move your Vacation Points to Interval International, there are different booking guidelines for those exchanges. So you would need to look at those booking windows as well as booking windows for vacation exchanges for any other Disney Destination that is NOT a Disney Vacation Club property.

Much of it depends on the type of vacation you are booking, and your Use Year. If you have questions about your specific account, I recommend giving Member Services a call and they can assist you with your account and help you make any reservations.

I wish upon a star you have the most magical vacation on earth!

    Happy Planning,
    Keri
