    I was wondering if anyone knew when Disney will start taking reservations for the standard rooms at the Art of Animation Resort? Can't wait to come back and would love to stay there but I don't need a family suite. Thank you and love the panel!

    Hi Lynn!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and thank you for the compliment on the panel.  All of us enjoy helping guests plan their magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

    I haven't seen a date yet, but the standard rooms are supposed to be available starting on December 31st of this year!  I suggest making a reservation at another resort and then changing to this resort once standard rooms are available.  Whatever you decide to do, be sure to keep track of when you are 180 days out from your intended check-in date.  That's because that's the first day you can make Advance Dining Reservation (ADRs).  ADRs can be made regardless of whether or not you have a hotel reservation!

    I'm sorry I don't have a more straight forward answer for you, but please write back with more questions!
