I am wondering if anyone has advice on shipping any purchases made at Walt Disney World to your home? Do any of the parks offer shipping or is there a UPS store or somethinng nearby? I don't want to lug everything on the plane. Thanks!!!

    Hello Ami!

I love this about Disney...they think of EVERYTHING!  Yes, you can ship from there.  While making your purchases at the parks ask the Castmember at the register about shipping them home.  They use UPS or Federal Express.  They'll let you know how much shipping will be.  I know that having to pay shipping on an item might not sound great, but you aren't charged sales tax when you are shipping outside of Florida.  It's also cheaper than paying for extra baggage fees at the airport.

One thing to keep in mind, if you are making your purchases one at a time, you will be paying a shipping fee for each item.

There are business centers in many of Disney's resorts.  You can mail packages through them.  If your resort doesn't have a business center just ask for help at the Front Desk or Concierge.  They will be able to assist you.

I have taken advantage of this service while at Disney.  I'll never forget buying a large, glass bonsai tree from Epcot and worrying about it the entire time it was out of my sight.  It was on my front porch in New Jersey, when we arrived from our trip!  In perfect condition...which is another thing you don't have to worry about.  Disney will replace anything that breaks in transit.

Hope this information helps!  Have a great time!
