Hi Michelle. Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you stopped by!
The time has finally come. The much-missed
Disney Dining Plan will make its triumphant return to the
Walt Disney World Resort with vacations beginning on January 9, 2024! There are two great options to choose from: the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan or the
Disney Dining Plan with both Quick-Service and Table-Service restaurant options. Guests love these options as they make your vacation feel more "all-inclusive" as meals are already paid for before you even arrive at the resort!
I'm happy to report that yes,
Annual Passholders can purchase a Disney Dining Plan as part of their vacation as long as it includes a stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. If you are not planning on booking a room at one of these hotels, you will not be able to purchase a dining plan as these plans are tied to your resort room stay and the number of nights you book.
Michelle, I see that you are planning to arrive in January. If that's the case, you're going to want to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements regarding the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts as it usually takes place around the time you're arriving. I got to experience this festival for the first time this year and I cannot stop talking about it! It's such a unique offering and if it's available when you are there, you're going to want to make sure
EPCOT is on your list. Speaking of EPCOT being on your list,
its transformation is set to be complete by the end of 2023, and that means it should be all done by the time you visit. There will be a whole new exhibition space,
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, a new meet and greet with Figment, and a new home for Mickey & Friends. I can't wait to see it for myself!
If you have any other questions,
please feel free to reach out. And be sure to check out the
perks and benefits of being an Annual Passholder so you can take advantage of them on your next vacation!
Our fate lives within us,
Matt
