I was wondering under the amenities button for the rooms it did not list coffee maker or microwave? Is there a fee to have these both in your room? Thank you Linda- Texas

    Hi Linda! Welcome to planDisney.

For me, enjoying a freshly-made cup of coffee in my Walt Disney World Resort hotel room is pure vacation bliss. Whether it's my first cup of the day while I'm dreaming about the fun that lies ahead, or during afternoon downtime with my feet up and Disney music playing on the TV, it is truly a happy vacation moment for me! It looks like you will be sipping your very own cup of pixie dust in just a few short weeks, and I am thrilled for you!

I'm happy to confirm that you will find a coffee maker in every Disney Resorts Collection hotel room. It used to be true that some value resort rooms did not have coffee makers in them, but coffee machines have been added as these rooms were refurbished over the past several years. You will find a single-cup brewer in your room along with coffee pods, tea, creamer, sugar, and stir sticks, and Mousekeeping will replenish your supplies as needed.

There aren't microwaves in standard Guest rooms at Walt Disney World Resort. You will find a microwave in the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, the Family Suites at Disney's All-Star Music Resort, and in the Deluxe Villas. Microwaves are located in select Quick-Service restaurants at the resort hotels for Guest use, so you would be welcome to bring items there to heat up. There may be a limited number of microwaves available at your resort hotel for use in Guest rooms; these are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the front desk, but are usually reserved for those with medical or other special needs.

Thank you for stopping by with this question, Linda! Have so much fun counting down the days to your vacation, and please come back and see us if you think of any further questions. Be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog as you plan and dream - they share great planning tips and news about new experiences and tasty treats available around the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. Have the best time!

    Wishing you much magic,
