I was wondering if you are allowed to bring your own snacks into the parks? In the past we have been able to bring snacks in our bags, and I have a vacation planner that recommends it. I wanted to make sure the policy had not changed and still allowed it.

Hi, Melissa!  You are certainly welcome to bring snacks into the parks.    Plan to bring your goodies in a tote bag or small soft sided cooler, as large coolers or coolers on wheels are not permitted.    The only restrictions are no alcoholic beverages or glass bottles.   My personal recommendation is nothing that will melt as that Florida sun gets hot!

If your bag of snacks gets too heavy to carry around, lockers are available at the entrance of each park.   I usually carry a few juice boxes, goldfish crackers, and a bottle or 2 of water.   If you pack sandwiches, you might want to toss in an ice pack to keep everything cold.

Have a great time visiting Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
