Ahoy, Olivia!
Welcome aboard planDisney! I love that you’re planning ahead to make sure your little sailor sleeps as soundly as possible during your magical voyage at sea. A well-rested Mouseketeer is a happy Mouseketeer, after all!
You’ll be glad to know that yes, you can absolutely bring your own Pack ‘n Play onboard. As long as it’s fully collapsible and easy to stow (which is kind of in the name, right?), you’re good to go. When it comes to the mattress, a foldable foam one should also be fine—especially if it fits inside your luggage. I’ve seen some Guests get creative and use vacuum-sealed bags to make the most of their suitcase space, and I think that’s a great idea! Just be sure to
steer clear of inflatable mattresses, as they aren’t permitted onboard.
That said, if you’d prefer to save that precious luggage space for Disney souvenirs (which somehow multiply like magic during the trip), you can absolutely
request a Pack ‘n Play from your stateroom host or through the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Just hop into your reservation, tap “View All” under “Next Steps,” and scroll down to “Special Requests & Special Services.” Select “Child Amenities” and you’ll be able to request one right there. It comes with a fitted sheet, but no bumper pad—and while it’s perfect for onboard naps and nighttime snuggles, it can’t be taken ashore for use at ports of call.
When my kiddos were little, having that cozy sleep space made all the difference, and I know your little one will be snoozing like Sleeping Beauty in no time!
Sea ya real soon with a splash of April fun and a boatload of Disney magic,
Dustin
