I was wondering if we are allowed to bring empty metal water bottles ( like a hyrdo flask) on a cruise ship?

    Hi there, Teena!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Wahoo!  It’s June and you are going on a Disney Cruise Line vacation THIS MONTH!!!!  I hope you are ready for an adventure that you won’t soon forget…one filled with non-stop activities, incredible entertainment, CHARACTERS, lots and lots of food and SO MUCH MORE!!!  I always say I need a “vacation from the vacation” after a Disney Cruise Line vacation because there is just so much to do, and I never want to miss any of it!

Thank you for stopping by with such a great question…and YES!  You can most definitely bring onboard a metal tumbler-type water bottle to refill at the onboard drink stations and I most definitely recommend doing so!  While there are disposable cups there for Guests to fill, they are small so it’s always nice to have a big water bottle to fill, especially one that will keep your water cold!  The drink stations are available 24-hours a day and I always make sure to fill up before heading back to my room for the night because nothing is worse than little ones waking in the middle of the night requesting water!  Additionally, your stateroom does have a beverage cooler in it, so we usually bring on some bottled water with us (just be sure to carry it on and not put in your checked luggage) to keep in the stateroom to use as needed or they do sell water bottle packages onboard as well!  We always find ourselves going through a lot of water while onboard, especially when visiting some hot and humid destinations!

Another thing I always recommend bringing onboard is a lanyard to hold your Key to the World card in.  You will receive your Key to the World card upon check-in and registration when you arrive at the port for embarkation.  Your Key to the World card will act as your stateroom key, be used to make purchases onboard and also always needed when disembarking the ship at the ports you visit, so having it handy in a lanyard is helpful and keeps it from getting lost or misplaced!  So, if you have one that you can bring, do so!  Otherwise they do sell them onboard in the gift shops!

The countdown to your Disney Cruise Line vacation is ON!!  Have just the BEST time and make some magical memories!

    Happy Sailing!
