Hi Avis!
Oh boy! Wonderful news that you are setting sail on a
Halloween on the High Seas cruise. Having experienced this itinerary a few times, I must say it's one of my favorites because of the fun photo opportunities with Disney characters when they are decked out in their Halloween costumes!
I think it’s super smart of you to be thinking about staying hydrated because even in October, the temperatures can still be quite toasty in most destinations. Yes, you can absolutely take unopened water bottles onboard as long as they are in your carry-on luggage and not in your checked luggage. Since that might make one carry-on bag very heavy, I'd suggest splitting the water bottles between all the carry-on bags for everyone in your family.
When it’s all said and done, you may prefer just to order a water bottle package instead. Disney Cruise Line will deliver the water bottles directly to your stateroom, and you don’t have to worry about carrying them onboard with you! Orders can be placed up to three days prior to sailing through
Onboard Gifts or once onboard. It's such a relief to show up in your stateroom and have the water bottles magically appear!
Definitely leave room in your luggage for Halloween costumes-it’s one of the SPOOKtacular reasons why the Halloween on the High Seas voyages are so much fun! Just make sure to follow the
costume guidelines for the safety of all Guests. Costumes must be family friendly and nothing offensive, objectionable or violent. Also, don’t bring any toys or props that resemble guns, knives or other weapons. If you have any questions, check the Prohibited Items List.
Water? Check. Costumes? Check! Download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and that should complete your checklist! The app places all the events onboard at your fingertips, including daily activities, live shows, Halloween on the High Seas events, and where to see characters.
Now I hope that you are more eager than ever for a voyage on the high seas with Disney Cruise Line. Please stop back by
planDisney as you captain the cruise planning waters. We are happy to be your first mate!
Happy Sailing!
