i am wondering what is most age appropriate for my 6 year old?

    Hi Desirae,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

We often travel to Walt Disney World Resort with other our little guy and several other children and one of the things that I’ve found fascinating is how different each child really is. My little guy, who is now 5, is definitely not a daredevil and doesn’t want to ride a single roller coaster or thrilling attraction during any of our visits, preferring to experience slower moving attractions like Peter Pan’s Flight. But he has several friends (some even younger than him) who giggled and begged to go on attractions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train again and again.

My advice to you would be to check out the Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones page in order to get some ideas about the types of attractions and experiences that your little one might like. Then, please come back and visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, along with a few more details about your 6 year old (favourite characters? Thrill seeker?) and we can help narrow down your “must do” list. It’s one of things we do best!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
