Wondering about afternoon parades at MK. We really want to see MOUCP(the Christmas parade), but won't be at MK until 24th of Dec. I heard MK afternoons are no longer until 2014. Do you have any info on MK parades in Dec after MVMCP? Will there be no MOUCP?

Tonya, who wouldn't want to see marching toy soldiers, dancing gingerbread men, Santa, Scrooge McDuck, and Mickey all in one afternoon?

Traditionally Mickey's Once Upon A Time Christmastime Parade is held each afternoon through Christmas Day in the Magic Kingdom once Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is done for the season. While MOUTCP is not currently listed on the calendar, imagining Christmas week at Walt Disney World without this longstanding holiday icon is as difficult as convincing Cinderella's stepsisters to do their own chores. Check the Magic Kingdom calendar closer to your arrival date and hopefully MOUTCP will be listed. Most of the speculation around parade free afternoons in the Magic Kingdom revolves around the new Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade premiering in the spring and the retiring of Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade, not longstanding holiday entertainment.
