Hi, I was wondering if I want to take advantage of early entry on check in day I can park at the resort (copper creek) and take the water transportation and still be able to use early entry?

    Hey Howdy Hey, Bonnie!

Welcome to planDisney!  How exciting that you will be moseying to Walt Disney World Resort in a few short weeks.  Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is one of my favorite Disney Resorts.  Not only do I love the immersive theming of the Pacific Northwest and New Frontier, but the quiet location among the woodlands is the perfect place to rest my boots.

Bonnie, you most certainly can take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry on check-in day. Just be sure that your Disney Resort Hotel is connected to your My Disney Experience account and that you have valid theme park tickets and a valid theme park reservation on the day of your visit.  You can also park at the Resort on check-in day.

Yeehaw, Bonnie! Did you know that you can actually check in in advance on the My Disney Experience app?  Even though your room won't likely be ready prior to 3:00 or 4:00 p.m., you can check in days before your arrival day and will receive a push notification or a text when your room is ready. It saves a step on arrival day and you can go directly to your room once it's ready.

By checking in before your arrival day, you don't even need to stop by the Front Desk. Just come to the Resort and park. If you like, you should also be able to drop your bags with Bell Services. Once your room is ready, you can go directly to your room and simply call Bell Services for your bags to be delivered to your room.

Then, climb aboard the complimentary water transportation over to Magic Kingdom Park or bus transportation if you are headed elsewhere to enjoy your day.  You will receive a push notification and/or a text when your room is ready. But don't worry, Bonnie! Don't race your horse back to the Resort. You can take your time and continue to mosey around the parks until you are finished, then head back to the Resort and go straight to your room using your My Disney Experience app to open your door.  If you have a Magic Band+ connected to your account, it should also open your door but sometimes it gets a snake in its boot and you have to visit the Front Desk to have it reconnected. But otherwise, giddy up straight to your room and kick up your heels.

To check in prior to your visit, go to your My Disney Experience app and click on your Resort reservation. You should see a "check-in" link and just follow the steps, and then with a Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo, check-in will be done for you.

Now, I do hope you will be stopping by my favorite restaurant at the Resort, Whispering Canyon Cafe. But let's be honest, Bonnie. There's nothing quiet about this restaurant - especially if you ask for ketchup. But you will get a hearty all-you-care-to-eat meal fit for even the hungriest cow folk.

I hope this helps you, Bonnie! If you have any more questions, park your horse back here and I'll be so happy to help you.  Remember, you've got a friend in me!
