Hi Madison, welcome back to planDisney!
So glad you're visiting us again, I'm happy to help with your question!
Blue Bayou Restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants, I hope you were able to secure a reservation for your visit! It's one of the more popular dining locations, and reservations tend to get filled very quickly. Most
Table Service dining locations typically tend to have Guests adhere to the age requirements when dining. Guests ages 10 years old and older would need to order from the adult's menu, and Guests ages 9 years and younger would need to order from the children's menu. However, if you're interested in ordering from the children's menu, it certainly does not hurt to ask! On my most recent trip to the
Disneyland Resort, I actually dined at Blue Bayou Restaurant for lunch. Due to my snacking earlier, I didn't have much of an appetite, so I asked if I could order from the children's menu. The Cast Member politely told me I could not, so I can tell you for a fact that at Blue Bayou Restaurant, adults will need to order from the adult's menu!
However, at most
Quick Service dining locations, adults are more than welcome to order from the children's menu. I've personally done this many times during my past visits, so there should be no issues!
I hope you're excited for your trip! I’m happy to let you know that many of the amazing experiences at the Disneyland Resort have returned, making it the perfect time to visit! The traditional character meet and greets are back, which means Mickey and all his Pals are ready to give out the best hugs and sign your autograph books. And many of the fantastic nighttime experiences are back as well!
The Main Street Electrical Parade,
Disneyland Forever fireworks,
World of Color, and my personal favorite,
Fantasmic! have all returned!

See ya real soon!
