Hi Kathleen,
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your vacation planning question! You'll be at the Happiest Place on Earth in just a couple of days!
Technically, the
kids' meals are for children ages 9 and under. However, there are some adults who have smaller appetites, and there are those who can only eat small portion sizes for health reasons. Personally, I have specifically informed a Cast Member that I am not very hungry and I asked if I could order a kids' meal on numerous occasions. It has never been an issue. In fact, just this past week, my 26-year old daughter ordered a kids' size hibachi entrée at
Teppan Edo in
Epcot's Japan Pavilion. Our server was fine with it.
If the reason that you are wanting to order a kids' meal is because you prefer the selections rather than because of portion size, you can simply ask them for an adult sized portion of a kids' entrée.
I do want to note that when you are in a buffet dining restaurant, adults must pay adult prices, as the servers don't monitor how much you eat.
Wishing you magical memories,
Kaylene
