Hi Nicholas! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Your
fall vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort will be one to remember! In my experience, it is a great time to visit with amazing weather and
Christmas decorations galore. It combines two of my favorite things: Disney and Christmas ... you really can't go wrong with that!
When making
dining reservations at any Walt Disney World Resort restaurant, you want to include the total number of Guests on the reservation, regardless of how everyone is paying. The last time I visited with a large group we also had 11 people. Even though almost all of us were on separate tickets, we were all on the same reservation. The reservation is for table configuration and restaurant safety, but the Cast Member assisting you at your meal will be the one you speak with about payment arrangements.
I do want to mention that while there was a time when paying for another Guest's meal with your
Disney Dining Plan meal entitlements was allowed, we have recently been informed that it is no longer permitted. However, I encourage you to give
Disney Dining a call to confirm this. Things are constantly changing around the Walt Disney World Resort, but I wouldn't want to arrive expecting to use your dining plan for everyone and not be allowed to do so.
I hope you have the BEST
vacation, Nicholas! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
