I was wondering about the accessibility of the rooms on the cruise ships. I don't require a room that is wheelchair accessible but I do have mobility issues and walk with a cane. Do the standard rooms have shower rails?

Ahoy there, and welcome to planDisney!  Thank you for sailing by with your question.

Bathrooms in non-accessible staterooms do not have shower rails.   You will need to step over the edge of the tub to access some of the showers.  For example, on the Disney Fantasy, the tub height is about 16 inches.  If this is of concern to you, an accessible stateroom may be your best option.

There are different categories of staterooms to choose from: Inside, Oceanview, Verandah, and Concierge. Each has capacity limits, so the type of stateroom you can book will depend on the number of people in your traveling party. Each offers a vanity/desk, television, and other amenities to make this your home away from home during your sailing.

If you have any other questions, please sail back to planDisney.  We are here to help!

    Adventure is out there!
