Wondering if I will be able to wear my hipster/bag on the rides themselves at WDW?? Thanks :)

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Denise!

I love handbags and carrying the right one during your trip to Walt Disney World Resort can help make your days go a little smoother. I like to carry a smaller cross-body bag with me during my trip, my favorite being the Disney Dooney & Bourke letter carrier style. In my experience, I have been able to carry my bag with me with no problems on the rides that do not have a harness system, such as it's a small world, Pirates of the Caribbean or Haunted Mansion. For these rides, I either wear them or, for larger bags or backpacks, place them on the seat or the floor next to me.

For rides with a harness system, the space available in the ride vehicle is more limited and you will want to be sure you have a good hold on all of your belongs so they don't fly out during the ride. You will find a small elastic pouch somewhere in the ride vehicle that you can use to store your bag. I like to loop my leg through the bag strap and then place my bag on the floor and hold it secure with my feet. Then buckle my harness over my legs to keep both me and my bag secure. You will want to be sure that all of the pockets on your bag have secure zippers and that they are all closed before your ride! Also, be sure to remove your hat, sunglasses and anything else that could fall off! Cast Members can assist you with how to best store your bag if you have any questions.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
