Disney visits are one of the most fun times of year and planning them ahead of time is important. I have family in the area and have stayed inside the magic at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel and their homes. When your family allows you to save some dollars by staying with them you have to take advantage. To be honest, the savings just go into more Mickey-shaped snacks.
Staying off-site is another option for many folks and some of the perks are not available like
Early Theme Park Entry and
Extended Evening Hours. When it comes to
Disney Genie+ Service as long as you have a valid theme park ticket for that day you can purchase Genie+ just like any other guest. It is subject to availability so purchase it on the
My Disney Experience App as soon as you get a chance in the morning. Genie+ adds so much value to my day I usually purchase it each day I visit. Most guests use 2-3
Lighting Lanes per day, but if you use each return time as a window to get on a smaller wait attraction in the same area or on the way to your next Lightning Lane you can get what I like to call a 2 for 1. You will not be able to get two Lighting Lanes at the same time but while you wait for the window to open or close try a less-popular attraction. For example one of the most popular rides in all the land is the
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. If you have a return time of an hour, you may be able to enjoy a snack from
Storybook Treats or board the
Mad Tea Party. You might be able to do both depending on the wait. I would recommend Mad Tea Party before the snacks for obvious reasons. Each popular attraction always has something adjacent that you can enjoy instead of waiting in line, that’s the beauty of Genie+.
