Hello Kenneth!
You're just a week away from your magical vacation. You will be standing in front of
Cinderella Castle, The
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or
Flame Tree Barbecue before you know it!
Rest assured, whether you are coming for the views, the thrills, or the food, you will be able to use cash at most Walt Disney World locations. You can plan on bringing home those must-have souvenirs and picking up a Mickey Bar...or two without needing to use a card. There are a few exceptions to this that are worth mentioning. The biggest cashless encounter you will experience is
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering at select
Disney restaurants. If you would like to use this amazing time-saving process you will need to pay with a credit or debit card, Disney Gift Card, Disney Rewards Redemption Card, or even Apple Pay. I absolutely love using the mobile order process. It allows my Ohana and I to view the menu, choose the time we want to eat, and make modifications for even the pickiest of eaters, all without a line of people waiting behind us. I place orders while in the queue for my favorite attraction or sipping my morning coffee on Main Street U.S.A.. There is nothing better than saving time for more adventures on your trip.
The same cashless process applies to
Merchandise Mobile Checkout. I recently used this new process, and it was super convenient. Lines can get long at
Emporium at the end of the evening, mainly because this shop has the biggest selection of souvenirs in
Magic Kingdom Park. Merchandise Mobile Checkout means you can find the best take-home memories and check out with no wait time.
I hope this advice helps make your upcoming trip magical.
See ya real soon,
Tammy
