Hello! I was wondering if I was able to leave the parks and go into Orlando or the surrounding areas and still be able to get back into our resort later in the day? How would this work (eg. showing tickets or proof or purchase, etc?)

Hello Lizzie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Thank you for bringing your great question to us!

You can surely reenter the Theme Parks if you choose to enjoy them in the morning and then leave to take a nap or enjoy a meal at a Resort, for example. You will simply need your Admission Card or MagicBand, as they prove that you have already entered that Theme Park and are entitled to come back later. If you have chosen Tickets with Park Hopper Option, you can even enter a different Theme Park to end the day!

My husband and I did just that on our recent Disneyland Resort vacation and it was a very wise decision, as we had jumped out of bed at 5:00 a.m. to arrive in time to enter the all-new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. We left Disneyland Park at 3:00 p.m. and came back at 6:00 p.m., just in time to enjoy it even more.
I hope you have a magical stay, Lizzie, and that you enjoy your planning process as much as you will enjoy your vacation! If more questions pop up along the way, remember that the Disney Parks Moms Panel will always be here for you!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
