Hello, I was wondering if I am able to carry luggage on both the monorail and Skyliner? I will be going from the Polynesian to the Pop resort?

    Hello, Seila,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney.  Oh boy, you are staying at two fantastic Disney Resorts:  Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Pop Century Resort. My family enjoys it when we stay in 2 resorts because we seem to experience so much more Disney magic and theming.  Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is so beautiful with its lush gardens and pixie-dusted views of the Magic Kingdom from the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon.  Disney's Pop Century Resort is filled with so much nostalgia and charm while also having access to "soar" over to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT on the Disney Skyliner

I like your plan to move your luggage from one resort to another, but it will require that you actually go through EPCOT (which will require a valid theme park ticket). The Monorail Station is located in front of the theme park while the Skyliner Station is at the International Gateway (which is located in the World Showcase). It could be quite cumbersome to carry luggage with you on the modes of transportation as well as through the theme park. Also, Park Rules prohibit suitcases larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high in the theme parks.

However, I have a much easier way to move your luggage.  Let Disney do it!  Just drop off your luggage at Bell Services (or call to have it picked up from your room) and let them know you are transferring resorts. Your luggage will be moved for you, and the service is complimentary.  It is important to note that it may not arrive until later in the day, so you would want to keep anything you need during the day with you.  Once you arrive at your second resort, either call or stop by Bell Services to check on the arrival of your luggage.  It is so simple and uncomplicated. Having done this many times, it really works well and frees you up from having to spend the time transferring luggage yourself.

Please let us know if you have any further questions. Wishing you a pixie-dusted day!
