Hello, I was wondering if you are able to bring laptops into Disneyland to work.

Hey there, hi there, Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by with your question for us!

While I hope that you have a visit full of fun and magic, I know sometimes work can get in the way of all of that fun. The Park Rules and Regulations list does not have laptops on the prohibited list, so you should be good to bring your laptop through security and into the parks if needed. However, security always has the final say on whether an item can be brought through. I will share that since I live close by and visit the parks often, I have actually brought my laptop to work from the parks a few times recently. If I have to work, why not do it from The Happiest Place on Earth?!

If you need a quieter spot to work, I have a suggestion or two. In Disneyland Park, there is a stretch of tables behind Edelweiss Snacks that is tucked away by the water and not too busy. Similarly, if you head to Harbour Galley and take the path around it along the water, it will bring you to a quieter spot with some tables as well. Over at Disney California Adventure Park, I like working on the side of Flo's V8 Cafe, where you can watch Guests cruise by on Radiator Springs Racers. You can also stroll into one of the resort hotel lobbies if you need an even more relaxed setting.

Stephanie, I hope your work will be quick and you will have plenty of time for the magic! See you real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
