Hello. I was wondering if I am able to bring my emotional support dog to the parks with me. I have servere generalized anxiety disorder. She helps a lot and just wouldn't want to bring her and find out I can't have her there

Hi Kayla! This is always a tough question to answer as there can be a fine line interpreting what a service animal is. Disney does allow Service Animals at most locations. You can read the guidelines concerning service animals at that site.

Disney follows the ADA government guidelines in regards to Service Animals. You can read these at the Ada.gov site and search Service Animals.  I do not know the specifics of your need and therefore cannot answer yes or no to your question. I will quote the ADA guidelines: "Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA."

If you are under medical supervision I am sure they can help you with your need to determine if the dog provides a service to you to define it as a Service Animal.  I hope this helps and hasn't confused you. It is a topic that can be confusing to everyone.
