Hey Howdy Hey Bailey and welcome to planDisney!
There is so much happening at Walt Disney World Resort right now and in the very near future. It is recommended to plan a trip to Walt Disney World early so you can keep up with all of the excitement while you have your room and tickets secured. Thank you for your question on just this topic of getting things booked early! Let's review the timeframe you can expect these dates to open.
As of August, Disney changed the way you can book reservations at
Disney Resorts Collection accommodations. Now, this process only includes available dates accessible online and no further no matter if you call Disney which is a change from the past. Currently, the dates available are only for 2023 which I am sure you already know. Disney usually releases dates for the following year as well as vacation packages in the late spring/early summer months. These times tend to vary from year to year so keep an eye on availability in the May, June and July months as you should see availability open for 2024 sometime in that window.
There are so many really cool attractions with a lot of anticipation of their openings coming throughout 2023 that you will be able to experience. The Disney community has been holding our breaths as we have been watching the progress of the
TRON Lightcycle / Run in Magic Kingdom progress. We have heard that this is opening in the spring of 2023 for Guests to speed across the world! Over at EPCOT construction continues with so many things that have opened this year already such as
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. We recently heard the goal is for most if not all construction to be complete in late 2023. This means the highly anticipated
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, will be opening at that time as well. So many things to look forward to for your trip in early 2024!
As you continue to plan for your upcoming trip, keep up with all of the latest news and announcements from Disney over at

keep our contact information handy and stop back if you have any further questions, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
