Hiya Wonderful Sharon!
Welcome to planDisney! Your energy and excitement are just beaming through the computer and I can tell that you are ready to have a fabulous time at Walt Disney World Resort.
Floridays Resort Orlando is considered a
Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel and as one they should provide some sort of shuttle service or transportation to nearby theme parks. According to their site, it appears to be included in the resort fee but I would confirm by reaching out to them directly. Their main site states that their shuttles take you to the
Transportation and Ticket Center which will connect you via ferryboat or monorail to Magic Kingdom Park or monorail to EPCOT. There is also a later shuttle to EPCOT directly from the resort. I would make sure to confirm this as their site could need updating.
Since your party is so large you can also try to book multiple rideshare vehicles to your destination. I have in the past with my husband transported a party of 10 by hailing two rideshares that can fit 5 people each. We each booked a vehicle. When searching online consider Uber XL or Lyft XL which can fit larger parties. I would also consider a car rental. My brother and I transported our party of 8 from our offsite house to the Parks with a minivan that we rented at the airport. It was a little tight but we also had to squeeze 3 car seats inside. Guests not staying onsite do have to
pay for parking at the Theme Parks unless they have an Annual Pass that includes free standard parking.
Once on Disney property, you have the option to also order two
Minnie Van vehicles that can seat 5 people each. It also includes a complimentary car seat if needed. The Minnie Van is good for on-site transportation only as it can't take you back to your resort. It can be requested through the Lyft app. I would suggest using this if you want a quick transfer to another Theme Park or Walt Disney World Resort Hotel dining reservation.
While on Walt Disney World Property don't forget about the
Disney Skyliner which connects EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios to several Resorts. It's complimentary and stroller friendly! No need to fold it up and very efficient.
When traveling into or within the Parks I want to stress you give yourself plenty of time for any traffic, detours, or delays. I like to give myself 45 minutes to an hour to get myself through the ticket booths at the parking lot entrances and then take any trams or walk to the Park entrance. This is especially needed for Magic Kingdom Park which has the longest distance from the parking lot to the Park. I just hate being late and I love being early only to Walt Disney World.
I hope this helps and if you have any questions please
let me know!
Happy Planning!
