Thank you so much for this question. How wonderful that your parents are letting you use their DVC points for a villa! You will have such a fun time this fall. When using the Disney Dining Plan, your parents will need to call Member Services and add this onto your vacation. You must do this at least 48 hours in advance of your vacation, and payment is due at the time you are adding this onto the reservation. This must be for each guest in your party and for the duration of your stay. I understand about picky eaters as two of my children are this way as well. Children ages 3-9 will order off the children's menu and will have options such as macaroni and cheese, cheese pizza, chicken fingers, peanut butter and jelly, and pasta. I am sure there will be something that your son will like to eat. We always would pack some of our kid's favorite snacks as well because they never will be too hungry when we were eating and then starving when we were done with our meal. Since you are going in October, I would suggest Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This is a special event that allows you to Trick-or-Treat in the Magic Kingdom which I am sure your kids would just love. Please let me know if I can help you further, Andrea.
