Hello, wonderful mums. I have another question for you? I want to see some of the hotels/resorts. Can you suggest a route for us. I assume this will be ok and won't get stopped. We def want to get a kitchen sink ice cream so if we can do this on route.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shelly!  If I am understanding your question correctly, it sounds like you want to tour various Walt Disney World Resorts?  It also sounds like you will have a car?  When you pull up the the guard gate, just let the attendants know that you are visiting, shopping or dining at each resort.   If you are a Disney Resort Hotel Guest, you will be able to visit/park for free at other Disney Resorts.  Some resorts have parking restrictions if you are not specifically a Guest of that resort.  At times, at such resorts, you will be given a 3-hour parking pass to allow for shopping or dining.  You may be asked for photo ID and or a Key to the World Card to be allowed access to some resorts as well.

I do not know what interests you most, but I'll tell you some of my favorite resorts to visit.  Animal Kingdom Lodge,  Disney's Boardwalk, Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's Wilderness Lodge all have exceptional theming.  You mentioned wanting to eat the famous Kitchen Sink Dessert.  Yum!  You can find this, and many other tasty treats, at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop in Disney's Beach Club Resort.  It's a popular place so I suggest that you make a reservation by calling (407) WDW-DINE.  You'll find the Beach Club Resort to be a fun place to tour as well.  Disney's Beach Club Resort is one where you will be given a 3 hour parking pass if you are not staying there.

I wish you a MAGICAL vacation!
