    Hello to you wonderful ladies, Can you advise what hours the soft serve ice cream is available on Castaway Cay and is it available at all three dining locations? Hope it is available longer than the lunch hour. It would be a great way to cool down.Thanks!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am always so excited to “sea” a question from you because I know how excited you are for your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation!  You have already thought through everything, which is fantastic, because then once your vacation arrives you can simply ENJOY!!  And, of course, I love counting down with you…and before you know it, you will be able to say, “My Disney Cruise is NEXT month!!”!

    I absolutely love visiting Castaway Cay and love the delicious barbeque lunch they have on the island.  It’s perfect “beach” food and more than enough to go around!  And, they always have the delicious Disney Cruise Line chocolate chip cookies, but on Castaway Cay they are HUGE!  Grab two and sandwich around the soft serve ice cream and you have a delightful after lunch dessert!  Because you know that when you are on a Disney Cruise, dessert is after every meal, right?!?  There are soft serve ice cream stations located at the three dining locations on the island, and they will be up and operating during dining hours.  Typically lunch is available between 11AM-2PM so you will want to be sure to make it by there during those hours to ensure you get to enjoy the yummy ice cream!  And you are right, it will be the perfect treat to cool off from the warm Bahamian sunshine!  But if you are looking for something after the ice cream stations are done serving, stop by one of the island’s bars for a refreshing smoothie or cocktail!
